Los Angeles, Aug. 21 -- Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is in talks to join the third season of Netflix's 'The Gentlemen', Variety reported. The update came shortly after reports surfaced about Markle eyeing a return to acting after her move back to the UK.

The Guy Ritchie series, which is yet to be officially renewed for Season 3, features Theo James as an aristocratic soldier who inherits his late father's massive estate, only to discover that it is home to an underground cannabis empire.

The show's first season turned out to be a hit, while Season 2 is set to premiere on September 3.
