Kuala Lumpur, Aug. 24 -- In conjunction with Malaysia's 69th National Day celebrations, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has announced temporary airspace closures within the Kuala Lumpur Terminal Control Area to facilitate the National Day Flypast 2026.

According to Malaysia Airlines, these closures will result in the retiming of selected Malaysia Airlines flights arriving at and departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1.

Affected passengers will be notified via their registered contact details and are encouraged to check their latest flight status on the Malaysia Airlines website or mobile app before travelling to the airport.
