Mumbai, March 5 -- Maharashtra's economy is expected to grow at 7.9 per cent in 2025-26, up from 7.3 per cent in 2024-25, according to the Economic Survey of Maharashtra 2025-26 tabled in the State Assembly on Thursday.
The survey projects steady expansion driven mainly by the services and industrial sectors, while the state continues to maintain its position as one of the country's largest economic contributors.
As per advance estimates, the services sector is expected to grow by 9 per cent in 2025-26, compared with 8.3 per cent in 2024-25, while the industry sector is projected to grow by 5.7 per cent, up from 4.3 per cent in the previous year.
