Madras HC to pronounce order on MK Stalin's plea challenging TVK's Kolathur victory
Chennai, Sept. 3 -- The Madras High Court is set to pronounce orders on Thursday on a petition filed by DMK president and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin challenging the election victory of TVK candidate VS Babu from the Kolathur Assembly constituency.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari and Justice G Arul Murugan is expected to pronounce the order at 10.30 am.
Stalin has sought 100 per cent counting of VVPAT slips in the constituency and a declaration that he be elected after setting aside Babu's victory.
