New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday congratulated India's medal winners for their outstanding performances at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, applauding their dedication, hard work and remarkable achievements that brought pride to the nation.

Addressing the Lok Sabha, Birla congratulated the Indian contingent for its successful campaign at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games and lauded the athletes for their contribution to Indian sport.

Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan also congratulated the Indian contingent in the Upper House, with members joining him in applauding the athletes for their performance at the Commonwealth Games and Commonwealth Para Games held in Glasgow.
