New Delhi, Oct. 19 -- AICC General Secretary and Uttarakhand in-charge Kumari Selja welcomed Ram Sharan Nautiyal back into the Congress party, stating that his experience within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had given him an understanding of its functioning. She also launched a sharp attack on the Uttarakhand government, alleging widespread corruption, public dissatisfaction, and concerns over women's safety in the state.

Speaking to the ANI in Delhi, Selja said Nautiyal had witnessed the functioning of the BJP and was happy to return to the Congress, the party whose ideology he had previously followed.
