Raipur, April 1 -- Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, on Wednesday underscored the Centre's commitment to empowering tribal youth through sports during her visit to the inaugural Khelo India Tribal Games (KITG) 2026.
The first edition of the multi-discipline Khelo India Tribal Games (KITG) 2026 is being held across Raipur, Jagdalpur and Sarguja from March 25 to April 3, bringing together tribal athletes from across the country and providing them with a national platform to showcase their talent.
Speaking to ANI on the sidelines of Day 8 of the Games, Khadse said the initiative has been specifically designed to engage young people from tribal communities and promote wider participation in sports....
