Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 6 -- Thrissur Titans lifted the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) title after defeating Calicut Globe Stars by four wickets in a thrilling final, chasing down a target of 168 with three balls to spare.

Thrissur finished at 169 for six in 19.3 overs after Calicut posted 167 for nine in 20 overs, according to a press release.

A match-winning half-century from Ahmad Imran and an all-round contribution from captain M S Akhil powered the Titans to their memorable victory. Imran was named Player of the Match, while Alleppey Ripples' Mohammed Azharuddeen was adjudged Player of the Tournament.
