Srinagar, Sept. 7 -- Women home chefs in Kashmir got an opportunity to showcase their culinary skills and explore possibilities of starting their own food ventures at the finale of the 'Home chef' cooking competition, held in Srinagar.

The competition was organised by Dhara in collaboration with the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Srinagar, at a private hotel in Zakura on the outskirts of the city.

The finale saw six participants compete in a live cooking challenge. Organisers said around 400-500 people had registered for the competition, of whom 12 were selected for the semi-finals and six eventually reached the final round.
