Bagalkote, Sept. 13 -- Unsparingly targeting both the ruling Congress and his own party's state leadership, expelled BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal on Sunday made a series of explosive allegations regarding the Karnataka Chief Minister's race, accused Congress leaders of betraying Siddaramaiah, and launched a direct assault on Karnataka BJP State President BY Vijayendra.

Yatnal detailed the internal politics of the Congress party, alleging that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was undermined by his closest loyalists during high-level meetings in New Delhi.
