New Delhi, May 18 -- Justice Manoj Jain of the Delhi High Court will now hear the CBI's challenge to the discharge of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other accused in the Delhi excise policy case.

The matter is scheduled to be taken up tomorrow (Tuesday).

The case was earlier heard by another Bench, which later directed that the matter be placed before the Chief Justice for reassignment following subsequent developments during the proceedings.

The CBI has challenged the trial court order discharging Kejriwal and others in connection with alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi excise policy.
