Los Angeles, July 13 -- Singer-songwriter Jelly Roll has candidly spoken about his struggles with overeating, comparing the experience to his past battle with drug addiction, according to E! News.

In a YouTube video, the "Save Me" singer opened up about stress eating and how easily old addictive patterns can resurface.

"I've been overeating the last three or four days and I was feeling myself stress eating," Jelly Roll said during a conversation with a fan. "And then, what else happened was the addict in me came out."

The singer recalled giving in to temptation after a show, saying a dessert quickly led to excessive eating.
