New Delhi, March 29 -- Top US economist Jeffrey Sachs attributed the US miscalculations in the Iran war to 'gangster-like' thinking by top leaders, including Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Speaking to ANI, he characterised the decision-making process in Washington as lacking "sophisticated analyses," attributing the current crisis to a small, insular group of advisors.
