New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Saturday criticised the Centre over the Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions and Term of Office) Act, 2023, amid opposition allegations regarding the Election Commission's handling of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, saying the legislation was passed by "bulldozing" it through Parliament.
