North 24 Parganas, Aug. 23 -- West Bengal Minister Arjun Singh on Sunday said that members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) would have to adopt "stricter measures" to drive away what he termed "Dimaagi Naxals" from the campus.

"Members of ABVP have to resort to stricter measures to drive these Dimaagi Naxals away," Arjun Singh told ANI while commenting on the alleged Jadavpur University violence.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Saugata Roy on Sunday alleged that the BJP was disturbing the atmosphere of Jadavpur University after a clash between two groups of students during a general body meeting at the varsity.
