London, Aug. 22 -- Actor Jacob Elordi has avoided questions about ongoing speculation linking him to the iconic role of James Bond, saying he was in London only for a holiday while promoting his upcoming film 'The Dog Stars', according to People.

Elordi, 29, attended the London premiere of "The Dog Stars" on Thursday and was asked by Variety if his visit to the city included discussions about potentially playing 007 in the upcoming James Bond film being developed by Amazon MGM Studios.

"I'm here on holiday," Elordi said while responding to questions about the Bond casting rumours.
