Maharashtra, Oct. 22 -- Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers and Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda inaugurated the 14th edition of India Chem 2026 in Mumbai on Thursday.

Addressing the industry leaders and policymakers at the event, Nadda said the country's most conducive environment is being provided for the chemical sector by the government. He said the BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme for the Chemicals Sector will be a game changer.

The Union Minister outlined connectivity to ports, railways, airports and roads, along with integrated value chains, as key considerations for developing globally competitive chemical manufacturing hubs under the BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme.
