Srinagar, May 15 -- A Special National Integration Camp (SNIC) organised by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) commenced in Badami Bagh Army Cantonment in Srinagar to promote unity, peace, and cultural exchange among students from different parts of the country.

Speaking about the initiative, NCC Srinagar Group Commander Brigadier Gurbir Singh said the camp seeks to familiarise cadets with the culture, traditions, and heritage of Jammu and Kashmir while fostering national integration.

"Special National Integration Camp has started in Srinagar. Effectively, today is the first day, and we started with our religious place," Brigadier Singh told the reporters.
