J-K: Anti-terror search operation continues for seventh day in Rajouri's Manjakote Sector
Rajouri, May 29 -- A joint cordon and search operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force in the dense forest areas of Gambhir Mughlan and Dorimal in the Manjakote sector of Rajouri district entered its seventh day on Friday.
The operation was launched based on intelligence inputs indicating the presence of suspected terrorists hiding in the region.
On Thursday, heavy firing and shelling erupted in Rajouri's Dorimal forest area as Operation Sheruwali reached a critical stage, with security forces tightening the cordon to neutralise suspected militants hiding in the dense terrain.
