Tehran, April 1 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a direct appeal to the American public through an open letter, questioning whether Washington is truly prioritising "America First" or is merely functioning as a "proxy for Israel" that is prepared to fight "to the last American soldier."

In the message, released via Iranian state media Press TV, Pezeshkian explored the historical friction between Tehran and the US, tracing grievances back to the 1953 coup while simultaneously condemning recent military strikes on Iranian infrastructure.
