Tehran, March 19 -- Iranian Ambassador to United Nations Amir-Saeid Iravani has criticised the United Nation Security Council (UNSC) for its prolonged silence over the killing of the country's key officials - Minister of Intelligence Esmaeil Khatib and National Security Chief Ali Larijani in a letter, reported Al-Jazeeera citing Mehr news agency.
In the letter, Iravani also wrote that UNSC'S inaction has caused Israel to become stronger and bolder in targeting officials.
Iravani also warned that the killings could spread to other countries if left unchecked.
The US-Israel and Iran conflict is now in its third week with both sides showing no signs of stepping back.
