Internet has made citizens more aware, political parties more accountable: BJP chief Nitin Nabin
Medchal-Malkajgiri, June 29 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Monday said that the spread of computers and the internet has made people far more aware of their rights, adding that political parties can no longer expect the public to forget their statements or actions.
Addressing the Viksit Bharat Student Conclave at VBIT in Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nabin said there was a time between the 1980s and the early 2000s when people were not as conscious of their rights as they are today.
