Washington, June 30 -- Indian Ambassador to the US Vinay Kwatra on Sunday (local time) visited Indian Naval Ship Sudarshini at the port of Baltimore, Maryland, which is participating in the SAIL 250 Maryland event, commemorating America's 250th anniversary.

In a post on X, the Indian Embassy in the US said that the Commanding Officer briefed the Ambassador on the progress of the ship's transoceanic expedition Lokayan 26 and reflected on the preparations for the SAIL 250 events.

It further stated that the Ambassador extended his best wishes to the crew towards continuing their voyage and for engaging in efforts to boost mutual cooperation between India and the US.
