India's resilient economy to support markets but global risks remain elevated: SEBI
New Delhi, Aug. 8 -- India's financial markets are likely to remain supported by resilient domestic economic fundamentals in 2026-27, although heightened geopolitical uncertainty, elevated commodity prices and volatile foreign capital flows could continue to pose challenges, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said in its Annual Report 2025-26.
The report said India's economy remained resilient during 2025-26 despite a challenging global environment, supported by robust domestic demand, government capital expenditure and a strong services sector.
