India's exports rise across key markets in April-August; US shipments up 6.17%, China jumps 38.7%
New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- India's merchandise exports registered growth across several key global markets during April-August 2026-27, with shipments to the US rising 6.17 per cent to USD 42.79 billion, while exports to Japan, China, Italy and South Korea witnessing particularly strong increases.
According to data presented by the Commerce Ministry, India's exports to the US rose 6.17 per cent to USD 42.79 billion during April-August 2026-27, from USD 40.31 billion in the corresponding period of 2025-26. Exports to the European Union increased 3.84 per cent to USD 27.78 billion from USD 26.76 billion.
