New Delhi, June 8 -- India has secured continued access to the European Union for key agri and marine exports, with Brussels confirming that Indian shipments of aquaculture products, honey, eggs and animal casings will remain authorised under the bloc's tightened AMR-linked rules beyond September 2026.

According to a press release by The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the decision prevents a potential disruption to India's $1.59 billion fisheries trade with the EU and gives exporters clarity on compliance requirements under the amended regulatory framework.
