New Delhi, April 10 -- The country recorded its highest-ever annual solar capacity addition of approximately 45 gigawatts during the financial year 2025-26. The Office of the Prime Minister of India, in a social media post tagging Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, stated, "India records highest-ever annual solar capacity addition," quoting the minister.
