India-Oman CEPA to strengthen energy security, trade resilience and export growth: Report
New Delhi, May 29 -- The India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), set to come into force from June 1, 2026, is expected to significantly strengthen bilateral trade, energy security and supply-chain resilience while opening new opportunities for Indian exporters across sectors, according to a report by Rubix Data Sciences.
The report described the agreement as "strategically important" as it deepens India's economic integration with the Gulf region through tariff reductions, improved market access and stronger investment cooperation.
