Gandhinagar, Sept. 15 -- The Indian men's kabaddi team head coach Balwan Singh stressed that the team is heading into the Asian Games 2026 with complete preparations but also highlighted the need not to underestimate any opposition.

The Indian men's and women's kabaddi teams, on Tuesday, departed for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with both sides aiming to bring home gold medals. The Games will run from September 19 to October 4.

Speaking to ANI, Balwan Singh said the Indian men's team is fully prepared for the Asian Games in Japan after completing training camps in Bengaluru and Ballari. He also stressed that every opponent is strong and that consistent practice and preparation will be key to success.
