Sanand, Feb. 28 -- Highlighting a shift in the global technology landscape, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India is rapidly becoming a part of the global semiconductor value chain.

The Prime Minister, who inaugurated the Semiconductor Assembly, Test and Packaging (ATMP) facility of Micron Semiconductor Technology India Private Limited in Sanand, said this is the century of AI revolution, and the semiconductor is a major bridge of this revolution.

He said the inauguration of Micron's semiconductor facility marks a milestone in India's journey towards technology leadership.
