Kolkata, Oct. 14 -- Acting on information from sources, a raid was conducted by West Bengal STF on Tuesday at a house in Ayubnagar, under Nadial PS, Kolkata, leading to the detection of an illegal arms manufacturing unit.

The raid resulted in the recovery of 2 seven-mm firearms, 2 country-made firearms, live ammunition of different calibres, fired ammunition and a considerable quantity of arms-manufacturing tools, indicating the operation of an illegal firearm manufacturing setup. The accused person managed to flee but had been identified.
