Varanasi, Sept. 18 -- The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, has strengthened its international research collaboration in electric mobility with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint research and innovation in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility.

MoU was signed on September 8, 2026, at the Electric Vehicle Centre (EVC), University of Michigan, between Prof. Amit Patra, Director, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, and Prof. Todd Allen, Associate Dean for Research, University of Michigan.
