Hyderabad, June 30 -- A Special Court for MPs/MLAs in Hyderabad on Tuesday acquitted BJP MLA T Raja Singh in a 2022 case registered under various sections of the IPC related to alleged remarks on religious sentiments.

The case was registered under Sections 153A(a)(b), 295A, 504, 505(2) and 506 of the IPC.

Speaking to ANI, Singh said he has been acquitted by a Special Court for MPs/MLAs in a 2022 case related to alleged remarks on religious sentiments, claiming that false cases were registered against him under pressure from political parties.

He asserted that he has faith in the judiciary and will be acquitted in other pending cases as well.
