Humanitarian assistance sent by India arrives in Colombia
Bogota, Aug. 21 -- Emergency relief supplies dispatched by India to Colombia reached Bogota and were formally transferred to local officials to assist recovery operations following the severe earthquake that struck the South American nation on August 10.
"The first tranche of humanitarian assistance sent by the Government of India arrived and was handed over to support Colombia in the aftermath of the earthquake of 10 August. India stands in solidarity with the people of Colombia and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries," the Indian Embassy in Bogota posted on Thursday on social media platform X.
