Human Rights Council PoJK demands immediate internet restoration, transparency in student death probe
Muzaffarabad, Aug. 18 -- The Human Rights Council of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) has called for the immediate restoration of internet services in the region, saying the prolonged shutdown has severely affected fundamental rights and caused difficulties for students, freelancers, businesses and Kashmiris living overseas.
In a post on social media, the Human Rights Council PoJK said the continued internet disruption has adversely affected freedom of expression, access to information and communication.
