Shimla, Sept. 1 -- Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Tuesday said that the smooth functioning of the House depends on harmony, coordination and cooperation among its members.

Around 200 students from Army Public School Dagshai in Solan, Himachal Pradesh Institute of Legal Studies in Shahpur, DAV Public School Kumarasain and DAV Public School Tutu interacted with Pathania at the Assembly ahead of the day's assembly proceedings.

During the interaction, the students asked questions about the functioning of the Assembly, the Speaker's role, the formation of the legislature and the Council of Ministers. Pathania responded to their queries and explained the country's parliamentary system.
