Ahmedabad, June 21 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday participated in a yoga session in Ahmedabad on the 12th International Day of Yoga, joining people in celebrating the annual event dedicated to promoting physical and mental well-being.

The International Day of Yoga this year is being observed under the theme, "Yoga For Healthy Ageing," highlighting the role of yoga in ensuring a healthier and more active life across all age groups.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also took part in a yoga programme organised in Mansa as part of the nationwide celebrations marking the day.
