Ranchi, April 2 -- The second day of the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026 saw Goans Hockey win in Division 'C' while Hockey Bengal, Hockey Chandigarh and Hockey Uttarakhand won their respective matches in Division 'B' on Thursday in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

The day began with a Pool A, Division 'C' match as Goans Hockey defeated Telangana Hockey 6-3. Captain Dellina Mendes (40',41') and Bertila Kerketta (48',52') scored braces for Goans Hockey while Seema Tirkey (3') and Vidya Kumari (16') also contributed with goals, according to a release.

Anandi Mahanand (30',36') and Navyashri Akula (15') were the goal scorers for Telangana Hockey.
