Shimla, Oct. 9 -- The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing and Consumers Federation Limited (HIMFED) will set up a honey processing plant in Nagrota Bagwan and explore the feasibility of establishing new petrol pumps as part of its business diversification and expansion strategy.

The proposals were taken up at a meeting of HIMFED's Board of Directors, chaired by its Chairman Maheshwar Chauhan in Shimla on Friday.

The meeting reviewed the action taken on decisions made during previous board meetings and considered various agenda items related to the federation's routine operations and administrative activities. Necessary approvals were also granted on the matters discussed.
