Shimla, Aug. 23 -- Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania presided over the proceedings of the House on the second day of the 12th session of the 14th Legislative Assembly on Saturday, as the Monsoon Session continued amid heightened political activity following a stormy opening day.

Pathania arrived at the Legislative Assembly Secretariat ahead of the proceedings and took the formal salute before entering the premises to preside over the day's business.

Before the House commenced, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan paid a courtesy visit to Speaker Pathania in his office chamber.
