Gurugram, Aug. 24 -- In view of heavy rainfall in Gurugram on August 24 and the possibility of waterlogging and traffic congestion across the district, the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Gurugram, has advised corporate offices, government and private schools and other institutions to guide their employees and staff to work from home on August 25.

The advisory was issued by the District Magistrate-cum-Chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority, Gurugram, on August 24. The authorities said the measure was aimed at reducing traffic congestion and facilitating repair and maintenance work on roads and drains by civic agencies.
