Gujarat CM launches statewide 'Namo Swachhta Abhiyan' and 'Amrutpan Abhiyan' from Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar, July 1 -- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the statewide 'Namo Swachhta Abhiyan' and 'Amrutpan Abhiyan' from Gandhinagar and urged citizens to make cleanliness a shared commitment and a natural habit in everyday life.
According to an official release from Gujarat Chief Minister's Office (CMO), he added that cleanliness should not be a week-long activity but a lifelong habit.
CM stated that "Being healthy is the foremost happiness" and "Prevention is Better Than Cure" should become a part of everyday life. Emphasising that cleanliness and good health are closely interconnected, he urged citizens not to litter and to work together to keep public places clean.
