Gandhinagar, April 1 -- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday flagged off the grand Shobha Yatra from Camp Hanuman Temple in Ahmedabad.
On this occasion, he offered prayers to Lord Hanuman and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the state's citizens.
According to an official release, the grand Shobha Yatra was organised by the Camp Hanuman Temple Trust in Shahibaug, as part of its annual tradition. The yatra began in the morning after the collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa.
Chief Minister performed the aarti of Lord Hanuman's chariot and then flagged off the main chariot of the Shobha Yatra by offering a Shrifal.
