New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- The growing number of exhibitors at Semicon India reflects increasing faith in the country's semiconductor ecosystem, while India's progress in building the sector over the past five years has been rapid, India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) Chairman Pankaj Mohindroo said.

Speaking to ANI on the sidelines of SEMICON India 2026, he said the latest edition of Semicon was "far stronger than the earlier editions", pointing to the significant increase in exhibitors as a sign of growing interest in India's semiconductor development.

"You saw the big list of exhibitors. So it has grown tremendously. And that is a vindication of the faith in India, that India is doing the right things," Mohindroo said.
