New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Five persons were arrested in connection with the alleged abduction and physical assault of an 18-year-old man, police said.

The police informed that the arrest happened within two hours of the alleged abduction of a young man in a grey car near Kamla Nagar on Sunday. The police traced the victim, identified as Vishesh, to a park in the Gulabi Bagh area.

On Sunday, a PCR call was received at Police Station Roop Nagar regarding kidnapping/abduction from near Kaventre Shop, Kamla Nagar. It was found that the victim had been forcibly taken away by five persons in a grey-coloured car after assaulting him, DCP North Delhi Niharika Bhatt said.
