New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will begin an official nine-day visit to Canada and the United States from August 25 to September 2, 2026, aimed at deepening bilateral economic partnerships and advancing cooperation on global financial priorities.

During the first leg of her tour in Toronto, Sitharaman will co-chair the inaugural Economic and Financial Dialogue alongside Canadian Minister of Finance Francois-Philippe Champagne.
