New York, July 1 -- France became the first team in FIFA World Cup history to score three or more goals in five consecutive matches, continuing their prolific run at the 2026 tournament.
The milestone was confirmed by FIFA in a post on X following France's 3-0 victory over Sweden in the Round of 32.
