Luque, July 16 -- CONMEBOL President Alejandro Dominguez and Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodriguez congratulated Argentina after the defending champions secured a place in the FIFA World Cup final with a 2-1 victory over England.

Argentina booked their place in the World Cup final after defeating England 2-1 in the semifinal. The reigning world champions will face Spain in Sunday's title clash as they seek to retain the FIFA World Cup trophy.

In a post on X, Dominguez hailed Argentina's achievement and urged the team to bring the trophy back to South America.
