New Delhi, Oct. 29 -- The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended the deadline for the 'New Amnesty Scheme, 2025' by three months until December 31, 2026, according to a statement by the Union Ministry of Labour & Employment.

The 'New Amnesty Scheme, 2025' is a one-time initiative aimed at reducing pending court cases and encouraging compliance under the erstwhile Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Act. It provides employers with an opportunity to resolve legal disputes with ESIC through out-of-court settlements under a structured dispute resolution mechanism.
