England pacer Brydon Carse charged with bringing cricket into disrepute over Derby nightclub incident
London, Oct. 2 -- England pacer Brydon Carse has been charged by the Cricket Regulator with bringing the game into disrepute following an incident at a nightclub in Derby in August.
Carse, 31, was arrested and subsequently de-arrested at around 4 am on August 23 on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, following Durham's County Championship victory over Derbyshire the previous afternoon, Cricinfo reported.
A video circulating on social media showed Carse being escorted out of the nightclub in handcuffs on the night in question, with England teammates Ben Stokes and Matthew Potts also appearing in the footage.
Derbyshire Police subsequently confirmed that it had investigated an allegation of assault, but the investigation was closed ...
